Desmond Kwesi Blackmore popularly known as D-Black says signing Patapaa will not be a decision he would want to make.

The hitmaker and Black Avenue Muzik boss, who describes himself as a laid back fellow acknowledged that Patapaa was a creative artiste however his choice of genre doesn’t fit into the preference of his label.

“He is not what I’m looking for, I don’t sign hot artistes, I sign upcoming talents,” he remarked. He said this in an interview on the Urban Blend show with Miriam on 3fm 92.7.

Also commenting on signee Wisa Gried, D-Black said Wisa was an over excited upcoming artiste when he exposed his manhood on stage, but said, that past incident has not affected Wisa negatively.

The Black Avenue Muzik label signed five more artiste earlier this year, S3fa, Nina Richie, Kobla Jnr, Rony and Dahlin Gage, they are expected to work with different sound engineers to enhance their work.

The award winning and BET nominee D Black started his music career after his education at University of Cape Coast and University of Ghana where he studied economics and Bachelor of Fine Arts respectively. His chart topping hits includes ‘Vera’ ‘Personal Person’, and ‘kotomoshie’.

He is currently promoting his new single Julie featuring Bisa k’dei.
