Mr Fred Kyei Mensah is undoubtedly one of the huge names that will crop up any day when showbiz giants are listed he appeared as a judge on several music reality shows across the country, on the Thursday’s edition of entertainment review on peace FM the ace sound engineer vehemently blast Ghanaian rapper Quata Budukusu over his latest collaboration with Uhuru in south Africa.

It all started when the host of entertainment reviews on peace FM as usual tried to introduce Mr. Fred as a panel on the show and to contribute to one of the topics on board but in a reaction Uncle Fred rather started his contribution on the fact that he is not a happy man today. “fact is Quata Budukusu and his management has really annoyed me today, first of all you Quata Budukusu for many years of hibernation you got the opportunity to collaborate with one of the leading music duo in South Africa dub Uhuru and instead of portraying the Ghanaian culture I mean this our own Azonto dances, the Ghanaian traditional wears in the video of the Ginja single which is yet to be unveiled, but rather Quata Budukusu went to south Africa and brought a music video full of south African culture” uncle Fred fumed.

According to Mr. Fred as a front liner in the showbiz fraternity I had the opportunity to watch this unreleased video for the Ginja song but what pushed me to bring this on radio was the fact that his manager even tried to challenge my observations about the video, I am not saying Quata Budukusu is not a good musician obviously we all know Quata Budukusu from way back he has nothing to prove to us so far as good music is concern but my problem is with the video because I was expecting something more Ghanaian from my brother Quata Budukusu being a pace setter himself, information I am gathering is that Quata Budukusu is working on another song with Mafikizolo another top notch from the south African industry , please Quata Budukusu just make sure same mistakes will not repeated.
