The annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) an occasion that celebrates Ghanaian music and its crooners this year was supper exciting as it marked the 20th anniversary of the awards.
As an experienced performer and a man who likes to bring the younger rappers along, Sarkodie came on stage with FreQuency, Lyrical Joe, Tulenkey, Kofi Mole, Toy Boi, Yeyo, Amerado, 2 Fyngers, OBKAY & CJ Biggerman who were all young rappers on his “Biibi Ba” song.
Samuel Nana Kwame Odame Ampofo aka FreQuency is the lucky young artist coming up slowly but in a fast form. Rapper Sarkodie recently asked his fans to suggest artist he can feature on his new song “BIIBI BA” which FreQuency was part of the artist to be mentioned on twitter for Sark to put on the new banger.
On the Vodafone Ghana Music Award stage, FreQuency delivered his lines accurately which many patrons applauded him on his good flow and diction.
However it was a memorable night for FreQuency when he took his turn to unleash his untouchable rap skills combined with his idyllic style which got the crowd shouting and cheering him on. His delivery made him stand out on the night.
