Black Avenue Muzik vocal sensation Kobla Jnr, in a recent interview, revealed that he almost joined the military before fully taking up a career path in the music industry.

In the interview with Yen Ghana, he states that he was on the verge of signing up with the Ghana Armed Forces before fully committing to music. He said he was inspired by the work his late father, Major Courage Quashigah, who was a renowned senior officer in the military. He was also inspired by his constant urge to help people and he felt that serving his country through the military was his only was of helping the citizens of our great nation. But resistance from his mother and sisters and a revelation from God is what put him on the path of music.

“Music tends to have a wider reach with regards to helping people I feel. I hope my music reaches people internationally to help them cope with issues or uplift their spirits and also push Ghana and Africa out there as a driving force” he stated. It is safe to say we are grateful to God for setting him on that path to bless us with his musical talent.
