Ghanaian Producer/Artiste Magnom has just released the audio and video for his latest single “Maintain”. On the song, he features Kay So, Quamina MP, Twitch and Almighty Trei of the “Ground Up” collective. Maintain steers the listener away from the perfect and super human impression that the masses have about musicians to what it takes to become a “music great” and the backlash that comes with it. Each artiste speaks his truth on vulnerabilities, responsibilities and the sacrifices he has had to make to get to where where he is now. Each one of them also expresses his ambitions and the conviction he has to see them through. The song, also has an underlying demand for respect, respect of the art and the financial compensation that comes with it; clearly stating that no prisoners will be taken should any of these be taken for granted. “Maintain” was produced by Yung D3mz while the video was directed by K.T.O for Hawk Eye Cinema.
