Music Mogul and CEO of Black Avenue Muzik D-Black, in an interview with David Mawuli on Pulse Ghana on 26th July had a discussion on issues ranging from music, showbiz, business, politics and personal life.

A very interesting part of the interview that made headlines after the interview was the story about D-Black not signing Mr Eazi.

After watching the video, we realized D-Black had been misquoted in those headlines. In the interview, D-Black was listing names of richest Ghanaian artists and he ranked Mr Eazi with the likes of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy. He then added that Mr Eazi was introduced to him back in 2013 through an acquaintance in hopes of signing him onto the Black Avenue Muzik label but for certain reasons that didn’t happen. He then signed unto the label, hiphop Afrobeats act Joey B.

A few months ago, D-Black praised Mr. Eazi’s Accra – Lagos mixtape on his twitter handle.

D-Black’s new single #Bottles featuring Medikal drops on Friday 28th July.
