Wednesday, 31 January will go down in the history books of Ghana music as the day The Biggest Record Deal was signed.

Ghana’s proclaimed “Dancehall King” has finally pen down his signature to a grand management and distribution deal for the giant entertainment 360 company Zylofon Music, a subsidiary of Zylofon Media headed my business tycoon Nana Appiah Mensah.

Shatta Wale joins Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Obibini and Gospel singer, Joyce Blessing.

Though the exact amount of the record deal was not disclosed at the unveiling ceremony, the king of the streets, is rumored to be signed at an amount higher than his colleagues on the label.

According to earlier reports, Charles Nii Armah Mensah is said to be signed for an amount of 1.5 million U.S dollars, equivalent to 6.5 million Ghana cedis.

In addition, Shatta Wale will receive a luxurious Rolls-Royce Phantom and a grand mansion.

The deal which is expected to run for a period of 3 years will cover, management, distribution and recording.
